Training Labradoodle To Come When Called

In this video, I am training a Labradoodle to come when called. I give some tips on training your dog to come when you call them off leash.
A few of the focal points of this video are:
1) You need to use rewards that are high in value to the dog. Just because your dog is interested in a type of treat that you use inside the home does not mean that the treat holds enough value when training outside. Experiment with your dog to find what works well when you are training your dog to come to you. In the video, I am using cheese
2) Pay careful attention to what you do with your dog after you call them. When you are training your dog to come, you should let them go back to doing whatever they were doing before you call them the majority of the time. This way the dog does not learn that when you call them, the fun that they were having ends.
